Join Conrad every first Sunday of the month from Midday to 14.00pm for the "Roots Of Modern Soul" show selecting from his own collection of vinyl encompassing music from the late 60Ts right through to the present-day with the occasional future classic, lesser-known album tracks and obscurities 45's from way back featuring Modern, Rare Grooves, 80s Soul, and music from the back of the crates. All selected with love, always soulful, always played from the heart, and always from my own musical collection. Conrad started DJing in the mid 90s as a resident of Flava @ the Attic club Ipswich this led to him spinning vinyl on a regular basis at Trader Jacks, Hollywood's, The First-Floor club & Bar Fontaine (Ipswich), the Hippodrome Colchester & Chains in Barking. Playing a mix of Soul, Funk, 80s Boogie, Rare Groove & R'n'B with an occasional Hip Hop track. With a weekly radio show that ran for three years, firstly on Flex, then Vibe Fm. We came to the attention of Trevor Nelson and became part of his "Rhythm Nation" tour and also his weekly TV show "The Lick" shown on MTV. I was lucky enough to meet Trevor Nelson, Ronnie Herel, Femmi Fem, DJ Swing, and Bigger. To name a few. Most recently guest appearances at K Bar (Ipswich) Block Party (Ipswich) & Beach Street (Felixstowe) Heavy Soul (Cambridge) Richards Parties (GT Yarmouth).
