Bobby Bucys is a DJ that has music running through his veins having been collecting and playing records since 1999. His sets capture moods and create moments, spanning sunset terraces to basement dancefloors taking inspiration from a wide range of genres — Balearic, Deep House, Disco, Jazz/Funk, Soul, Dub and Techno.
Having built his reputation through playing extended sets on club and festival line ups alongside respected UK heavyweights including Luke Una, Jazzie B, Chris Coco and A Man Called Adam, Bobby continues to push his passion for music through Transient Radio, the online station he founded in 2023. Transient Radio broadcast the first weekend of every month, first started with 7 shows Transient now have 20 shows over the broadcast weekend Friday to Sunday.
Bobby continues to work on building relationships with DJ's venues and promoters in the East of England, London and Barcelona to establish the station and build a community of like minded souls and kindred spirits to pioneer underground music.
Over the last year Bobby has continued to build Transient Radio and firmly establish himself in the London scene, sharing billing with Justin Robertson, Richard Norris, and Dave Jarvis (Faith) in some of London's most respected venues including The Social, The White Bear and Shoreditch's vinyl only listening bar 26 Curtain Road.
Bobby started 2025 with bookings in Europe and played at some of Barcelona's best venues such as Salvadiscos, Garage 442 and Barcelona's leading audio file bar Curtis. Bobby has also been working closely in his home town of Ipswich with the music and arts community soundtracking art exhibitions and working alongside young up and coming DJ's and promoters, creating an exciting thriving underground scene in his home town.
Bobby recently has had his debut track titled 11.11 released as the opening track on Chris Coco's The Chillout Tent Vol. 3 Compilation on the label DSPPR
